Register now for free attendance to Securex South Africa 2019

Calling all within the local security sector: online registration for Africa’s leading security and fire trade expo, Securex South Africa 2019, is now open! Sign up for free attendance to the 26th edition of Securex, taking place at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg from 14 to 16 May 2019, by visiting www.securex.co.za.

One of the major attractions to this year’s Securex is that it will be co-located not only with A-OSH EXPO 2019, Africa’s leading occupational safety and health trade exhibition, but will also run alongside Facilities Management Expo 2019, the focused trade expo for the Facilities Management industry, for the very first time!

Additional highlights for Securex 2019 include:

”¢  The new 4Sight Cybersecurity Pavilion:

The Cybersecurity Pavilion will focus on the state of cybersecurity in South Africa, looking at the steps businesses can take to confront the growing threat landscape, as well as providing advice on how to better protect their valuable business data.

”¢  Five free-to-attend seminar theatres:

Not only is the popular free-to-attend Securex seminar theatre in place for 2019, but visitors will have access to an additional four seminar areas; with dedicated cybersecurity content running within the 4Sight Cybersecurity Pavilion; the PASMA Working at Height Theatre and Saiosh seminar theatre (powered by Saiosh and Sapema) situated in the A-OSH hall; and a focused facilities management stream within the Facilities Management Expo area.

”¢  The Vapor Wake K9 Law Enforcement demo area:

Here, Vapor Wake K9 SA will showcase the Vapor Wake method of training working dogs in the detection of explosives and other illicit substances – the first organisation outside the US to offer this advanced type of canine technology.

”¢  FPASA’s annual InFIRes workshop:

The Fire Protection Association of South Africa (FPASA) will once again hold its one-day InFIRes workshop alongside Securex 2019, catering for insurance technical staff and providing feedback on FPASA projects.

”¢  SAIDSA’s Techman competition and breakfast:

The South African Intruder Detection Services Association (SAIDSA) will be running its Tech-man competition at Securex 2019, where SAIDSA-certified technicians will compete against one another in a practical challenge. SAIDSA will also be holding a breakfast event.

”¢  The Securex New Product Display:

Here, visitors can see – at-a-glance – the latest new security products showcased within the official Securex New Product Display area.

A number of Securex exhibitors will be using the 2019 show to launch new products and services, and many have planned competitions, giveaways, demonstrations and more.
