A range of new functions include a one-button operation mode for the most-commonly used methods (favourites). Advanced microelectronics allow complete traceability of all measured values. Finally, the new 90X Titrando series is the only stand-alone titration system with audit trail, making it the preferred choice for tightly regulated industries such as the pharmaceutical and food industries.

Methods can be linked to a ‘favourite’ icon on the home screen of the 900 Touch Control. Titrations are started by pressing just one button
iConnect and iTrodes – digital data transfer and automatic electrode recognition. The data chip of the intelligent sensor stores all important sensor data, thereby closing the last gap in the trace-ability chain
More intelligence: The data chip of the exchange unit or dosing unit stores all important titrant data and alerts the user when the solution has expired, thereby preventing costly repetition and non-conformance to QA standards
Numerous tried and tested methods enhance ease-of-use. Method templates and calculation formula templates are available for developing individual methods
Direct access to the company intranet. Reports can be printed on a network printer or saved on a network drive
The software includes control charts, and out-of-limits results can be immediately relayed to an email address or cell phone number for prompt action
The software/hardware enables parallel titrations, thereby further enhancing the efficiency of the laboratory
By combining the 90X Titrando and Metrohm’s tiamo™ software, users profit from a client-server database, enabling management to view results from their offices without physically going into the laboratory
Tiamo software is CFR 21 Part 11 compliant, where every step from the IQ/OQ/PQ / validation / calibration to final result is completely trace-able.
The Titrando system can be fully automated including sample preparation with Metrohm’s unique Soliprep system. As an example, this system could crush a tablet, dissolve in a suitable solvent, then pipette an aliquot before performing the final titration – an ideal solution for the pharmaceutical and food industries
