The AFMASS Food Manufacturing Expo Uganda Edition is a pivotal event aimed at redefining the food and beverage industries across Uganda and the Great Lakes region. Scheduled from February 11-13, 2025 at the Africana Hotel in Kampala, this expo promises an enriching experience for industry leaders and emerging players alike.
A platform for innovation
At the event, visitors and conference delegates meet the broadest range of leading global, regional and local suppliers of new technologies and fresh and packaged food products.
The pioneer event will welcome more than 2,500 attendees from Uganda and the Great Lakes region countries: Rwanda, Burundi, DRC, South Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania and other regional countries.
The Great Lakes region of Africa offers one of the best emerging opportunities in the food industry, driven by the region’s strong growth in agricultural production of vital commodities such as milk, maize, meat, poultry, fish, coffee, tea, oilseeds such as soybeans, nuts and palm oil.
The strong increase in agricultural production, young and growing population, rapid urbanisation and growing economies in the region are further facilitating increased investments in food storage, manufacturing and retail for local, regional and global markets.
AFMASS Food Manufacturing Expo Uganda Edition joins the growing list of countries where these pan-African trade shows are held across Africa: Kenya (since 2015), Zambia (since 2017), Tanzania (since 2018) and Nigeria (debuts in 2025)
