Getting solid samples ready for analysis can be time-consuming and tedious but it doesn’t have to be that way. The 815 Robotic Soliprep for liquid chromatography offers fast and convenient dissolution, homogenisation, dilution and filtration of your solid samples. With the rack accommodating up to 24 samples, the 815 Robotic Soliprep will free you from tedious manual sample preparation steps while increasing your throughput.
The rack of the 815 Robotic Soliprep for liquid chromatography accommodates up to 24 samples, to which solvent can be added and particle size can be reduced. The built-in membrane pump adds any aqueous solvents required, while an additional Dosino can be used for adding organic solvents. This is followed by particle size reduction with the Polytron 1300 D, which has a cutting tool available with or without protruding cutters. During the further preparation steps, the Polytron’s cutting tool is cleaned at the external rinsing station.
After homogenisation, a sample aliquot is aspirated by a syringe needle and filtered into the injector of the ion chromatograph (LC) via a current syringe filter (Luer connections). The Dosino used for sample transfer feeds the sample at a uniform rate through the filter, which results in optimal filtration. Syringe needle and filter are exchanged for each sample and dropped into the waste container after use. The whole preparation system is completely controlled by MagIC Net.
The Robotic Soliprep family comprises four packages that cover different sample preparation steps. The core of the system is always the 815 Robotic USB Sample Processor XL, which is equipped with the accessories required for the sample preparation concerned.
