Belgotex Floors’ new Forces collection of carpet tiles

Belgotex Floors’ new Forces collection – including Natural Bark (pictured), Earth Rock and Torrential Rain – offer intricate pattern and colour definition that mimics Mother Nature’s organic beauty.

Belgotex Floors’ new Forces collection – Natural Bark, Earth Rock and Torrential Rain are inspired by the forces of nature.

The three new carpet ranges utilise the latest production technique of tufted colour placement combined with the innovative new backing system EOS BAC for soft, durable surfaces.  In addition, the ranges are GreenTag certified, guaranteeing 100% of credit points for flooring on the GBCSA’s Interiors rating tool.

Natural Bark, Earth Rock and Torrential Rain offer intricate pattern and colour definition that mimics Mother Nature’s organic beauty. Each namesake describes the pattern and texture created by the selective placement of individual tufts of yarn.  Natural Bark recreates the tones and textures of timber forests, while the cracks and crevices of the earth’s rocky surface are replicated in Earth Rock, demonstrating the eroding effects of the elements. Torrential Rain emulates the mesmerising shapes and sizes of pelting rain in sheets or rivulets that mould and chisel the plains and landscapes in a tactile hi-low structured texture.

The collection is made from Stainproof SDX nylon in five fashionable colourways graded for their Light Reflectance Value (LRV). This value describes the ability of that particular shade to reflect or absorb light in an area, with darker shades being more absorptive and lighter ones more reflective. These values are critical for planning ambience and comfort, as well determining the carpet’s ability to hide soiling or shading.  A further five non-stocking bright shades are available on order for accent colours or highlight areas.

The dimensionally stable new EOS BAC backing system offers added sound reduction and sound absorption properties to the carpet, as well as being environmentally friendly. Made from recycled PET bottles (so reducing post-consumer waste) and applied as a secondary layer, the innovative backing cushions impact noise and footsteps, simultaneously reducing sound wave reflection in the sensitive speech frequencies by a further 40%. This creates a quieter office environment, as well as improving underfoot comfort and durability.

Each 50 x 50cm carpet tile can be laid in a multitude of directions to create a soft but solid surface guaranteed to withstand the tests of time. Belgotex also offer the option of the versatile new 30 x 120cm “carpet plank” to create the popular herringbone design.
