2022 marks the 35th anniversary since Bio-Oil was launched in South Africa. Proudly made locally and available in over 135 countries worldwide, Bio-Oil has become a truly iconic brand.

The limited edition 35-year Bio-Oil gift pack

By harnessing the power of oil, each product in the Bio-Oil range is clinically proven and designed to effectively work with the skin to deliver optimal skin health. The range consists of Bio-Oil Skincare Oil and Skincare Oil (Natural), and Bio-Oil Body Lotion and Dry Skin Gel to address and meet the biggest skin concerns in South Africa:

  • scars
  • stretch marks
  • dry and dull skin.

In the 2020/21 Pharmaceutical & Cosmetic Review + Symrise New Product Competition, Bio-Oil Skincare Oil (Natural) was awarded with the Best Formulation Design certificate.

The judges said: “The absence of mineral oil and the interesting combination of natural oils hits the mark. The use of many newer or uncommon oils shows that the R&D team searched extensively for the right oils for this natural formulation.”
