Outgoing Skillcraft MD, Peter Roodt with the newly appointed Managing Director, Angelo Angelos.
Peter Roodt, Managing Director of Skillcraft Agencies retired at the end of August 2016. Roodt has enjoyed a long and successful career in the tool and hardware industry having joined Man-Dirk in 1985. He joined Skillcraft in 1995 and became a significant shareholder.
Peter built Skillcraft from small beginnings into the substantial business it is today over a period of 21 years. Peter handed over the reins to Angelo Angelos who was appointed as Managing Director.
Skillcraft is part of a group of companies owned by the Angelos Family. Tina Angelos handles group HR and BEE strategy and also oversees the group’s activities in the Western Cape.
The Skillcraft entity has the following structure:

Financial Manager: Lynne Bermingham
National Warehouse Manager: Mike Elvey
The Skillcraft head office is located in Johannesburg and has branches in Cape Town and Durban. Skillcraft has a national footprint with a full complement of external and internal salespeople also servicing Botswana and Namibia.
