Decorex Durban Postponed Due To Covid-19

Decorex Durban will be postponed to 2021.

Reed Exhibitions confirmed that Decorex Durban will be postponed to 2021. Dates for 2021 have been confirmed as 19-22 March 2021. The decision is a result of multiple discussions with the industry as a result of the impact of the COVID-19 escalation and upon advice of local and national health authorities.

In addition, the multitude of national events in the décor, design and lifestyle calendar that are planned for the latter part of the year do not favour another consumer and trade show for the industry before 2021. In the interim, digital platforms are being explored to support and connect our partners during these unprecedented times.

Exhibitors and Buyers are being contacted directly and we ask them to be patient with us as we do that. Our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted by COVID-19 and we thank all our customers and partners for their support.

Architecture Must Pivot Around People

Architecture is fundamentally important to the human experience as it frames the world in which we live. At its core, architecture is about people, about humanity and the human condition. As British prime minister Winston Churchill observed in 1944: “We shape our buildings, and afterwards, our buildings shape us.”
