Top players from the construction, home and garden industries will be represented at the Eisenwarenmesse International Hardware Fair.
The organisers of Eisenwarenmesse International Hardware Fair – which opens its doors in Cologne from March 6-8 2016 – has already recorded fantastic results shortly after the start of the registration period.
The top players from the construction, home and garden industries, including many returnee exhibitors such as Abus, Burg-Wächter, Fischer, Getalit, Hettich, Leifheit, Mellerud, Steinel, Tesa, TOX and Westag have already confirmed their participation at the trade fair.
In cooperation with the Manufacturers’ Association, Haus & Garten e.V. (Home & Garden), Koelnmesse is making a new presentation zone available to DIY suppliers, in the form of a DIY Boulevard.
“With the DIY Boulevard, we are offering a format that is optimally suited to the needs of the suppliers,” says Christoph Werner, Vice-President, Koelnmesse. “They will reach the right decision-makers in a very targeted manner in this area.” The number of registrations once again confirms the concept: The DIY Boulevard area is already fully-booked.
‘Competence on the shelves’ is a decisive sales argument in the DIY sector. Suppliers can demonstrate their competence in an authentic POS environment, in shelf metres, on the new DIY Boulevard. Spanning 210 metres, the boulevard stretches along the middle of the hall, in which companies from the construction and DIY market are traditionally represented. For the trade visitors of the fair, this means innovations by the metre. The boulevard is flanked by the networking area, which will be used by the exhibiting companies for meetings. In the sense of a logical value chain, the DIY Boulevard leads into the BHB Service World.
“We are convinced that the DIY Boulevard will provide a positive impetus at the trade fair because the top players of the industry are participating and the area is already fully-booked.
This is a reflection of the high visitor quality, says the Executive Director of the Manufacturers’ Association Haus & Garten e.V., Ralf Rahmede. Through the cooperation, the association was able to win over many of its members for the fair, either as first-time or returnee exhibitors. Over 40 member companies of the association will be represented.
