Agencies across the globe unite to create packaging network

The Global Local Branding Alliance offers regional expertise on a global scaleSeven privately owned strategic branding companies across the world have come together to form the Global Local Branding Alliance (glba) of packaging specialists.

The recently launched network held its biannual meeting in Johannesburg on 27 February 2015. The event was hosted by Stratcom, the South African member of the packaging design alliance. Founded by Gail Macleod, the business is one of the first truly integrated African packaging companies, offering services that span from concept, sketch, naming and architecture to logo, design and other technicalities.

The alliance offers customers regional expertise on a global scale in order to create relevant local packaging solutions. Each of the agencies in the network has over 20 years of experience, enabling them to work alongside brands at each stage of development. Each office is also equipped with specialists across all design disciplines.

Members include Berndt + Partner in Berlin, Ceradini Brand Design in New York, Flamesun in Shanghai, A10 in São Paulo, Orhan Irmak in Istanbul and Depot WPF in Russia.
