Axor_WaterDream_Front_schwarz_links_rdax_744x419Hansgrohe South Africa last week announced the launch of its revolutionary web-based bathroom and kitchen design tool, iSpecify. First in the market, this online specification tool allows architects, interior designers and bathroom planners to plan, source and coordinate their projects with the Axor and Hansgrohe products ranges.

“Innovation is part of our business DNA and iSpecify is one of our brand’s proudest innovations of 2015,” says the new managing director of Hansgrohe South Africa, David Cooper.  The iSpecify specification tool was developed to assist designers create 3D visualisations of their bathroom or kitchen designs using Axor or Hangrohe products and to manage their projects by incorporating useful technical data.

How to use iSpecify, a time-saver and direct line to Hansgrohe:

To get onto the platform, visit ispecify.hansgrohe.com and use the easy navigation bar to begin planning your project in a number of ways:

  1. Simply browse through a selection of global references to find inspiration for your project.
  2. Users can browse the online catalogue of Axor and Hansgrohe products to make a product selection, or view a selection of existing bathroom and kitchen areas to find products and layouts they like.
  3. By clicking on a fixture in a design visualisation, the program immediately suggests a selection of suitable products to choose from.
  4. The programme also automatically connects the designer and its nearest Hansgrohe project consultant to allow for easy collaboration and coordination of projects.

Giving insight on the thought process behind the online tool, Dr. Nicholas Matten, director of Global Project Business at Hansgrohe SE says: “The software, which has been in development for eight months, allows users to create complete projects, which lend themselves to modification as desired, and which can be viewed and worked on by the responsible Hansgrohe project consultant.”

“This not only helps to avoid planning mistakes, but also saves a tremendous amount of time, and above all, a lot of coordination efforts between the architect or interior designer and the Hansgrohe project consultants,” Dr. Matten concludes. User data is stored in personalised profiles, meaning that after a short registration process in iSpecify every user has their own private profile.

Cooper adds that the launch of iSpecify is part of the Hansgrohe’s continued commitment to maintain solid relationships with its local trade partners.

“Our promise to deliver industry leading service, both pre- and post-sale, is a proud Hansgrohe tradition”, says Cooper.
