HPA reveals its new logo and website

The redesigned logo of the HPAThe Health Products Association (HPA) has re-positioned its image to support its new strategic objective of becoming South Africa’s key innovative, reliable, and trusted industry body.

In conjunction with Saige Business Consulting, the HPA’s repositioning includes a revitalised logo and website.

A comprehensive webpage

The interactive and informative website is to be launched in June 2016. It contains HPA and Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAMS)-related material useful to members and consumers. While some aspects of the site are available to the general public, value is provided to HPA members in the members-only section. Using login details, HPA members will have access useful research documents and links that are of value to CAMS-industry stakeholders. These include Parliamentary Acts; documentation on production, manufacturing and distribution; along with a comprehensive library of links to numerous related organisations, and a credible database of members.

Moving forward for industry

Future projects of the Association include a marketing strategy to increase consumer trust, plans to improve product safety and efficacy, and strategies to improve working relations and trust with the Department of Health. The HPA will also be improving working relations with various media, consumer groups and associated bodies.
