HSBC has announced the appointment of Nico du Venage as Head of Global Markets for South Africa. Nico, who has been Acting Head of Global Markets for South Africa since January 2019, will report to both Mark Stadler, CEO of HSBC South Africa and Peter Nash, Head of Global Markets for Europe, International.
Nico has been with HSBC for over 15 years and accrued extensive experience in a number of roles, most recently as Head of Balance Sheet Management for South Africa. HSBC’s South African Global Markets business provides coverage across all principal asset classes to support its clients’ needs.
