The 2024 South African Rally Raid Championship (SARRC) reached an electrifying conclusion at the Legends Adventure Farm near Bronkhorstspruit, where INGCO Tools hosted its valued customers for a VIP experience like no other. The event showcased top-tier motorsport action and offered guests a front-row seat to the excitement of Rally Raid racing.

INGCO’s partnership with the Toyota Gazoo Racing South Africa (TGRSA) team has become a central element of its customer engagement strategy. INGCO MD Angelo Angelos, underscored the significance of this collaboration: “The South African Rally Raid Championship is the biggest national Rally Raid championship in the world, and South Africans are passionate about motorsport. Sponsoring the Toyota Gazoo Racing team has opened doors for us to connect with our customers in new and exciting ways.”
At the heart of this engagement was the VIP experience, organised by the SA Rally Raid organisation. Guests enjoyed unparalleled race access, including exclusive viewing points, pit visits, and opportunities to meet drivers and teams.

As the title sponsor of the Parys 400 and Vaal 400 races, INGCO enjoys a unique opportunity to deepen its ties to the sport.
“These races are highlights of the SA Rally Raid calendar. Sponsorship allows us to enhance the racing weekend’s excitement, work more closely with the racing teams and the Rally Raid organisation, and weave INGCO more tightly into the sport,” he explains.

A WINNING SEASON FOR TGRSA
The Bronkhorstspruit event also marked a triumphant end to the 2024 season for TGRSA. Henk Lategan and Brett Cummings secured their fifth victory of the season, overcoming mechanical challenges to deliver a stellar performance. Meanwhile, Dakar veterans Giniel de Villiers and Guy Botterill displayed their skill and the GR Hilux IMT Evo’s capabilities during testing.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2025
The 2025 season is poised to bring even greater excitement, said Angelos, adding that: “This year, the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) will bring one of its international races to South Africa at Sun City. This is a monumental step for SA Rally Raid and SA motorsport in general. The VIP experiences for 2025 will also be taken to the next level, making it an epic year for motorsport enthusiasts and INGCO customers.”
