The environmental impact of microplastics
Microplastics are tiny plastic particles that form as a result of the plastic content in consumer products and the breakdown of large plastics. Chromatography simplified – launching the LC 300 HPLC/UHPLC series
Earlier in the year PerkinElmer was proud to launch the LC300, our new all-inclusive Liquid Chromatography offering. Offering both a 10k psi HPLC or 18k psi UHPLC option, the LC300 can be further customised with one or more of the full offering of detectors for the platform (Multi-wavelength UV, PDA, FL or RI). In addition, the LC300 is controlled by our new easy to use software: Simplicity CDS. Simplicity software was engineered with ease of use in mind and was built to be fully CFR 21 part 11 compliant from launch. Hot on the heels of this launch, PerkinElmer is proud to announce that we have acquired ES Industries to provide a full portfolio of LC columns to the market. ES Industries provides the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC) analysts with an important source for high performance columns, bonded phases and packing materials. The EpicTM, GreenSepTM, ChromegaChiralTM, Chromegabond® and commercially equivalent columns and materials produced at our New Jersey, USA facility represent the state-of-the-art in column and bonding technologies. A free column and guard of the customer’s choice will be included with all future LC300 HPLC or UHPLC purchases.
