Plastprintpack-Nigeria-2015-Multivac-exhibitionAgainst the backdrop of increased industrial activities in Nigeria, the trade fair specialists, fairtrade, are organising the second edition of agrofood & plastprintpack Nigeria. This international industry gathering is scheduled to take place from 26 to 28 April 2016 at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island in Lagos.

The organisers indicate that the European Union officially supports the event. The expo will feature various international exhibitors, including the VDMA German Engineering Federation, which will be hosting a German pavilion. Adepta will support the French pavilion on a 260m2 stand, featuring the French Bakery LIVE event.

Nigeria’s growing packaging, printing and plastics sectors continue to attract foreign suppliers, which are importing machinery and technology into the region. Between 2010 and 2014, Nigerian imports of packaging technology increased by an annual growth rate of 24 per cent to €201 million. Printing technology imports went up by 45 per cent to €75 million, while plastics technology imports grew by 13 per cent.
