Engelize Botha is the young entrepreneur behind Zoemsalf, an all-rounder product designed to help address various skin issues.
The product, and its main ingredient, recently received two awards. Botha’s Zoemsalf was honoured with the 2023 Afriforum Besigheidsbytjies Senior Winner award, while the beeswax used in Zoemsalf secured the top spot as winner of the Commercial Hive Products at the 2023 Africa Regional Apimondia Conference. This award highlights the product’s commitment to using nature’s finest ingredients.
A versatile product
Zoemsalf may address various common skin issues such as:
- dry lips
- pimples
- acne scarring
- insect bites (e.g. mosquito bites)
- minor wounds and burn wounds.
Zoemsalf may assist in the healing of minor wounds and burns when applied under a plaster, reducing the risk of infection, and minimising scarring. It can also be used cosmetically, for example as an eyebrow fixer.
Zoemsalf prides itself on its use of 100% natural and skin-friendly ingredients, such as beeswax, propolis, coconut oil, shea butter, turmeric, and black pepper. Do take note of allergens.
