Turnstar recently manufactured and installed two 4m velocity barriers at Mintek’s JHB head office. The traffic barriers are designed for high-speed operation with an opening time of 1.2 seconds and will keep working even in the event of a power failure thanks to its built-in battery backup. Manufactured from 394 grade brushed stainless steel, the barriers are designed with aesthetics and longevity in mind.
