Two new cosmetic ingredient technologies aimed at enhancing formulation performance and 17 new formulations will be showcased by Vantage at in-cosmetics Global.
The global supplier of naturally derived specialty ingredients and formulations for skin, hair, sun care and colour cosmetics, Vantage will present two new ingredients and introduce a set of 17 new formulation prototypes at in-cosmetics Global. This leading industry trade show for personal care ingredients takes place from 16 to 18 April in Paris, France.

A celebration of diversity in beauty
Recognising the preferences and challenges of each generation from Gen Alpha to Boomers, the Vantage concept entitled Your Life Choice illustrates how personal care is a huge part of consumers’ lives and plays a central role in fulfilling their needs and aspirations.
The 17 new formulations include skincare, hair care, colour cosmetics and multifunctional prototypes. They are positioned to address the diverse skincare and beauty needs of each generation. They incorporate solutions from Vantage which support trends towards conscious consumerism and responsible sourcing as well as enable more sustainable formulation development and energy consumption.
Ingredients debuted at the show
Vantage is introducing two innovations aimed at enhancing formulation performance:
- CURAZELIC® 44 is a novel form of solubilised azelaic acid to help improve performance in face cleansers and clear formulations. It was developed to simplify the introduction of azelaic acid in formulations. It is a flowable solution of azelaic acid for easy incorporation in emulsions, gels or surfactant systems. It contains 44% of pre-solubilised azelaic acid which also helps improve bio-availability. Cocamidopropyl Dimethylamine acts as an emollient and a solubiliser for azelaic acid to facilitate its addition to gels and emulsions.
- METAUPON® EZ AMIBIO, the latest sulfate-free, liquid surfactant system has been developed for its versatility and compatibility with a broad range of rinse-off systems. It not only provides exceptional frizz control but also enhances wet and dry hair combability. It can help boost skin hydration too. The system’s versatility shines as an amphoteric surfactant, making it ideal for low pH formulations such as acne treatments and feminine hygiene products.
