IMCD appoints Natasha De Lange as MD in South Africa

In her new role, Natasha will lead IMCD South Africa’s strategic growth ambitions.

IMCD Group, a global leading distribution partner, and formulator of speciality chemicals and ingredients, has appointed Natasha De Lange as managing director for South Africa, effective 1 February 2024.

Her key objectives include focusing on the expansion of both new and existing principals, driving commercial excellence, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, fostering talent development, and spearheading the digitalisation initiatives within the organisation.

Natasha has over 21 years of experience in the chemical industry serving in executive and sales leadership roles. Her expertise spans in various sectors, including metal finishing, polyurethanes, preservatives, chlor-alkali, coatings, polymers, paper, agriculture, glass, and other chemical industries. Before joining IMCD, Natasha was general manager at Omya Idwala SA.

A good fit for the business

Natasha is South African, and she holds a BSC Degree in biochemistry and psychology as well as a diploma in business management.

Natasha replaces Ryan Harrison, who will assume a new role within the company as managing director of Australia and New Zealand. She will be based at the IMCD South Africa offices in Randburg, Johannesburg and will be reporting to Dr John Robinson, executive committee member, IMCD Group.
