Agrinet was nominated in the small retail division and walked away with the award. Both Mr. Francois Joubert, Agrinet Managing Director: Operations and Colin van Dalen, Agrinet Trade Manager highlighted the importance of partnerships in the supply chain. “Overberg Agri values its relationship with suppliers to help find solutions and develop strategies to achieve its objectives,” says Joubert.
Conrad van Eeden General Manager, Agrinet Bellville received the award on behalf of Agrinet. Van Eeden sees the award as a great honour and is grateful for the special business relationship Agrinet shares with Overberg Agri staff. “Our commitment to the partnership and accompanying service and support to the Overberg group has been coming over a long period,” he explained.
“To constantly provide good service and to be part of our customers’ strategies by working jointly on solutions is probably what made it possible for the Bellville staff team to be honoured and receive this award,” says Conrad.
Shane de la Harpe, Agrinet Sales Manager added that the cooperation between the Agrinet sales team and the Overberg purchasing department – headed by Anne Marie Joubert – plays a big role on the implementation of strategies, but also that Agrinet’s service at retail store level is of utmost importance and a priority for Agrinet.
