PG Bison at last years Woodex for Africa 2015

Wood-based panel manufacturer PG Bison is gearing up to exhibit their latest offerings at this year’s WoodEX For Africa, at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand in June.

The timing of this year’s WoodEx For Africa coincides with the start of PG Bison’s launch of MelaWood SupaGloss, the latest addition to their product range. WoodEX For Africa provides an ideal platform from which to showcase this new and exciting product.

MelaWood SupaGloss makes use of world-leading, patented technologies to produce a desirable and hard-wearing high gloss decorative board. A hot coat polyurethane (PUR) is applied to MelaWood with a SupaWood core and cured using ultraviolet (UV) light. This innovative process creates a durable, high gloss surface with good wear and scratch resistance.

Manufactured locally by PG Bison, to international standards means MelaWood SupaGloss offers not only the assurance of a dependable, readily-available product but its consistency in colour and surface finish means you’ll never have to worry about one batch not matching the next.

PG Bison will be supported by Austro, who will be demonstrating edging the new MelaWood SupaGloss.

WoodEX For Africa 2016 is any trade professional’s dream, exploding with networking opportunities, ideas, tools and gadgets, as well as new product launches and education – because you are never too old to learn something new in this industry. WoodEX For Africa will be the fourth edition of the show and is the only timber machinery, tooling, materials and fitting exhibition in Africa.

PG Bison, who continuously invests in the development and growth of the industry, is proud to be part of WoodEx For Africa.

WoodEX For Africa will take place from the 9th to the 11th of June at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand. A wide range of exhibitors from the timber industry will exhibit everything timber related from hand and power tools, to wood treatment, screws and fastening systems, and of course a range of wood-based products including PG Bison’s leading brand of laminates, chipboard, MDF, Formica LifeSeal worktops and plenty more.

Retailers, suppliers, and manufacturers alike should pen this one into their diaries as it is an event not to be missed!
