Q Products is supporting EWT and the African Wild Dog by donating R1 for every can of Limited Edition Q20 purchased
African Wild Dogs are the second most endangered carnivore in Africa and occur naturally at low densities compared to other carnivores. The Kruger National Park population has undergone a relatively recent decline and is currently small with less than 300 individuals. Disease (Canine Distemper Virus and Rabies) has emerged as a recent threat and needs to be addressed as it has the potential to decimate the entire population.
The Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) work supports the conservation of threatened species and ecosystems. Priority interventions focus on identifying the key factors threatening biodiversity and developing mitigating measures to reduce risk and reverse the drivers of species extinction and ecosystem degradation. The EWT responds to the key threats driving species and ecosystem loss by developing innovative methodologies and best practice guidelines which support reduced impact, harmonious co-existence and sustainable living for all.
