The ‘Ingco on the rise’ sales conference recently took place and was a brilliant opportunity for all to be inspired going into the future.
Skillcraft Agencies, brand distributor of the Ingco tool range, recently held its annual sales conference, gathering all its brand ambassadors, promoters, merchandisers, internal and external sales team at its City Deep offices to strategize and plan the future.
On the first evening, everyone had dinner together, which was a great opportunity for those who hadn’t met before to get to know each other, including company director, Angelo Angelos.
The next morning started with a tour of the new warehouse, giving the team a good understanding of what Ingco locally has become and what it will be going forward.
Last year, in the wake of the Covid pandemic, it was not possible to hold the event. An awards ceremony was long overdue, and this was a major aspect of the day’s activities.
The long service award was given to employees who had served for five years or more, some with 20 years of service. One employee with 20 years under the belt, Alta Leach, said, “It’s such an honour for me to have received this long service award. Skillcraft is my family, and I am blessed to be part of such an amazing team and to have the best leader anyone could ever ask for, Angelo Angelos. I am very excited to see what the next 20 years hold, because I see tremendous growth year on year, and I know that Ingco is going to be the top selling brand in the very near future.”
After the ceremony everyone enjoyed a spitbraai lunch, great music, and got to socialise before the sales conference the next morning.
Angelo opened the conference and thereafter the sales reps each presented what they envision and plan for the Ingco brand going forward which was followed by the brand ambassadors and management team.
