Finding new ways of making freezing technology more economical is a key aim for JBT. The company’s Frigoscandia brand was the first in the world to introduce individual quick freezing (IQF) technology on a process line back in the 1960s. The aim was to find an efficient way of quick-freezing fruit and vegetables, while maintaining product quality and profitability.
