Integrated system enhances packaging process

Three Ishida iTPS (Integrated Total Packaging System) for snacks are providing flexibility, reliability and accuracy at Scottish premium crisp manufacturer Mackie’s Crisps at its new factory in Errol, Perthshire. The system comprises an Ishida 14 head multihead weigher and Atlas bagmaker along with a throat metal detector and thermal transfer coder, all fully integrated using Ishida iTPS software and controlled and monitored via an easy-to-use Remote Control Unit (RCU).
