We see the recent yield spike as partially correcting the disconnect between the powerful restart and falling yields that had led to an overly compressed term premium.

Investors will need 'risk assets' to beat inflation in 2018

Global stock markets entered 2018 with positive momentum, including the Dow Jones which has surpassed 25,000 for the first time in history.
