Uniprint teamed up with its customer, global manufacturing giant Unilever, on the development of the Omo Handwash range. As a result, the products were awarded a gold medal in the domestic goods category of the Institute of Packaging SA Gold Pack Awards 2015.
The range has been enjoying a large amount of success in the lower LSM markets. Thanks to its ingenious design it has started to gain brand acceptance and preference in these markets.
The attractive, recyclable plastic bottle was designed in an attempt to move consumers from traditional powdered detergents to new liquid detergents. This goal has been met as the products continue to gain momentum in terms of brand loyalty.
The gold medal is yet another award that Uniprint adds to its collection of accolades. The company also sees the award as a testament to how its attitude towards innovation is constantly pushing the boundaries in the printing and packaging industry.
