Vantage Specialty Chemicals is committed to sustainability. In December 2020, the company earned its first-ever EcoVadis Gold rating for its 2020 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance.
The Gold rating acknowledges the commitment and continual sustainability achievements of Vantage and elevates the company into the top 5% of evaluated chemical companies in its category.
In 2018 and 2019, Vantage earned a Silver rating from EcoVadis. EcoVadis CSR experts awarded the company a Gold rating in 2020 subsequent to assessing the progress Vantage has made with its policies, procedures and practices pertaining to environmental practices, labour practices and human rights, fair business practices and sustainable procurement issues.
Sustainable on a global level
Vantage Specialty Chemicals is a leading producer of naturally derived speciality ingredients focused on personal care, food, consumer care and industrial end markets with a portfolio of more than 2 000 products.
Headquartered in Chicago, Vantage operates a global manufacturing and supply chain across eight manufacturing facilities, 13 formulation laboratories and 19 distribution warehouses located in 13 countries in North and South America, South Africa, Europe and Asia.
Vantage will never knowingly engage or condone any activity, which endangers the air, water, soil or natural resources of the planet in the same manner. The company will also never knowingly provide products, which when used in the manner intended, would directly or indirectly cause harmful effects to human health or well-being.
A growing commitment to CSR

Nicholas Marinelli, global regulatory and sustainability director for Vantage, added that the Gold rating demonstrates the company’s growing commitment to CSR.
