Verder Pumps South Africa, a market leader in advanced niche market and industrial pumping solutions, has appointed several new distribution partners that will see the company expand its footprint and network to service more clients across sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).
Speaking on this announcement, managing director of Verder Pumps South Africa, Darryl Macdougall, says: “Continuing to expand our network of local facilities and distributor partners is a key pillar of our growth strategy, as this enables us to offer our wide range of durable, industrial pumps, pumping systems and high-tech equipment – as well as in-house service and maintenance for quality and performance assurance – to more customers across SSA. Each of our new distribution partners have therefore been selected and onboarded after careful review of the core of their business offerings, their footprint and the potential customer base in the geographical areas that they service.”
Expanded network
The recently appointed distribution partners include Robday Mining Supplies for North West Province, Northfield Engineering for the Eastern Cape, Mechanical Rotating Solutions (MRS) for Mpumalanga, and Tri-Pump Africa that operates in South Africa, Zambia, Ghana, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This expanded network is meant to particularly benefit existing and new customers, over-and-above customers who are currently serviced from the company’s headquarters in Johannesburg, and those serviced by The Pumpsmith, who remains the company’s distribution partner for the Kwa-Zulu Natal region.
“As Verder Liquids Group is a multinational business, we have the advantage of leveraging on innovations, developments and acquisitions lead by our global Group, to continuously grow our range of OEM pump products and solutions offerings to customers in African markets. Added to that, as a South African company we remain committed to contributing to the growth and development of local industries – part of which we achieve by working with local partners who operate as regional and industry specialists,” says Macdougall.
“Our focus continues to be on the quality and performance of our solutions and services as an integrated offering to the market. And, with a tradition of technical excellence, and a growing footprint, we remain committed to finding innovative solutions to existing problems and forging new paths for future-proof solutions,” concludes Macdougall.
