Conrad is the editor of Medical Academic, a well-known online CPD platform for South African health workers. He is a former senior journalist for the South African Medical Association and former editor of the SAMA Insider.

Dr Jannie van der Westhuizen is a Psychiatrist in private practice in George in the Southern Cape. He has been in his practice for 21 years. He studied at the University of Pretoria where he obtained his MMed degree in Psychiatry in 1997. He was then Consultant and Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Weskoppies Hospital and the University of Pretoria. During this time he developed a special interest in Autistic Spectrum Disorder as well as ADHD. He also worked as consultant at the Unica Centre for Autistic Learners. His current practice is a mixed practice but focusses on children and adolescents, with a special interest in the treatment of ADHD in both children/adolescents as well as adults.
