1.4 million of people were affected around the world by colorectal cancer in 2012 and 2.2 million will be by 2030. Every year, all around the world, approximately 1 million people are diagnosed with colorectal cancer and 500 000 patients die from colorectal cancer.

She is a trained Laparoscopic Surgeon, Intervention Endoscopist. Founder and Public Relations of South African Society of women surgeons. She is first to perform HIPEC Surgery in Southern Africa. Currently Commissioning Minimal Invasive Surgery Guided Learning Pathway at Charlotte Maxeke for Fellows to advance Laparoscopic skills in Colorectal Surgery. PHD candidate. MBA graduate.
