Dr Oladehin joined GSK in 2006. In 2008, he assumed the role of Area Director, Clinical Research and Development, and Medical Affairs (sub-Saharan Africa). In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in supporting the entire life cycle of GSK vaccines in sub-Saharan Africa. This encompassed overseeing clinical development and facilitating the integration of these vaccines into the national vaccination schedules of African nations.

His expertise lies in the clinical development of crucial vaccines, including those for rotavirus, human papillomavirus, and pneumococcal diseases. Dr Oladehin has been instrumental in establishing and chairing several vaccine advisory boards across Africa. His noteworthy achievements include aiding medical experts in formulating vaccine recommendations at both national and regional levels.

Dr Oladehin's journey into medicine commenced with the attainment of his medical degree from Lagos University Teaching Hospital in 1998. During this period, he cultivated a deep interest in clinical research, ethical practices, and the principles of good clinical practice. His professional journey has seen him serve in various capacities as a clinician, spanning both private and public healthcare facilities in Nigeria.
