COVID-19 vaccine allergy: a lot happens in 18 months

Join Medical Chronicle for a free, CPD-accredited, one-hour webinar on the topic: COVID-19 vaccine allergy: a lot happens in 18 months. It will be presented by Prof Jonathan Peter. This webinar has been sponsored by ThermoFisher Scientific.

Allergic reactions to vaccines are well known, with severe anaphylaxis to vaccines reported to occur in 1 in 1 million people. The rapid roll-out of new Covid-19 vaccines of different types has seen an increased burden and awareness of vaccine-associated allergy and anaphylaxis. This webinar provides a background context to vaccine-induced allergy, known offending agents, clinical presentations, and how to manage Covid-19 vaccination in patients with prior allergies, including to previous vaccines.

Please note:

Dear HCP, please note as per the updated communication received from the HPCSA’s CPD Department, we will no longer be issuing certificates for any HCP affiliated to the HPCSA.
