Discussion of T2DM complications with Dr Ankia Coetzee

Specialist Forum is pleased to invite you to a one-hour free CPD-accredited webinar presented by Dr Ankia Coetzee, an endocrinologist based in the Department of Medicine at Stellenbosch University and Tygerberg Hospital. This webinar is sponsored by Eli Lilly.

Dr Coetzee will talk about complications in T2DM including Covid-19 and malignancy. Based on clinical data, Dr Coetzee will explore where GLP-1 RAs, specifically dulaglutide, combined with other T2DM therapies could provide the control patients need.

Furthermore, CV outcomes trails of GLP-1 RAs will be considered in order to understand how dulaglutide differs from other molecules of the same class in terms of the benefits demonstrated. A clinical case study will also be presented to demonstrate how the clinical data can translate into practice.

This webinar is for South African GPs, physicians and specialists only.
