Oppositional defiance disorder (ODD) and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) frequently co-exist, creating complex behavioural patterns characterised by defiance, disobedience, and hostility towards authority figures alongside symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, necessitating comprehensive assessment and tailored interventions. Dr Clementine Chawane, who specialises in child and adolescent psychiatric disorders, will lead the discussion on some of these interventions.
