Dr Lodder holds a Diploma in Allergology and completed a PhD investigating the neutrophil-directed anti-inflammatory properties of montelukast. Appointed as a part-time researcher in the Department of Immunology at the University of Pretoria in 2007, she presented her findings at local and international congresses, leading to four publications in international journals. She was awarded her PhD in November 2011. After 24-years in general practice in Boksburg, where she also ran an allergy clinic, she relocated to George in 2019. In April 2021, she established a dedicated Allergy and Asthma clinic focusing on allergology, asthma, and immune deficiencies. Dr Lodder lectures regularly at continued professional development events, presents webinars and in-person talks, and contributes scientific articles. She is passionate about improving asthma education and participated in the 2024 World Asthma Day initiative in George. She also consults monthly in Gqeberha (Eastern Cape).    

Dr. CN Osunkwo is a board-registered medical doctor based in Cape Town, South Africa, and a graduate of Stellenbosch University. He has over six years of clinical experience across both public and private healthcare systems, with a strong foundation in primary care and general practice. Over the past six years, he has worked extensively in community-based and GP settings, managing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups. This experience has strengthened his clinical judgement, independent decision-making, and ability to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care. In addition to primary care, his background includes emergency medicine and acute surgical exposure in high-acuity environments. He has developed a particular interest in trauma surgery, acute-care general surgery, critical care, and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
