Dr Antoinette Miric
Psychiatrist
Dr Antoinette Miric obtained her medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand in 2001. Following her internship and community service, she pursued a career in general practice, gaining extensive experience in various medical conditions. During her time as a General Practitioner, Dr Miric developed a keen interest in mental health, which led her back to academia. She embarked on a comprehensive psychiatry training program at the University of the Witwatersrand, where she gained significant experience in treating a wide array of psychiatric and psychological conditions.
In 2014, Dr Miric earned her certification from the College of Psychiatrists of South Africa and simultaneously achieved her Master of Medicine degree in Psychiatry. Since 2014, she has been practicing privately, currently serving at the Oxford Health Care Centre in Saxonwold, Johannesburg.
Dr Miric’s primary professional interests now include conducting independent medical examinations, focusing on neurodivergence, leading group therapy sessions, and treating mood and anxiety disorders.
