Dr JP (Kobus) Roux is a psychiatrist in private practice in Benoni; Life Glynnview Hospital. He is also a consultant psychiatrist at SANCA Horizon Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centre.
He obtained Mmed (Psych) at University of Pretoria in 1999 and Fc (Psych) CMSA in 2000. Completed MPharm Med at U.P. in 2012. Special fields of interest in Adult Psychiatry are Substance Abuse disorder; Psychopharmacology and Molecular Psychiatry.
He is the convenor for SIG for Cellular and Molecular Psychiatry at SASOP.
