Prediabetes: patients at risk, screening, and management

Addressing prediabetes through awareness, early detection, and lifestyle interventions is vital for reducing the overall burden of diabetes and its associated healthcare costs. This is especially true in an underserved and resource-poor setting like South Africa, where the prevalence of diabetes could be classed as a public health emergency. Join Dr Sindeep Bhana, the Head of Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolism in Internal Medicine at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, for a webinar on the importance of identification and management of prediabetes.
