Dr Sindeep Bhana

Specialist in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism

Dr Sindeep Bhana, MD, is a board–certified Principled Specialist in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. He is also the Head of Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolism in Internal Medicine at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital – where he is involved in several publications, poster presentations and numerous pharmaceutical trials. Dr Bhana is an alumnus of the University of the Witwatersrand and is currently the Founding member and Director of the Centre of Advanced Medicine in Waverley. He studied at the University of the Witwatersrand and furthered his studies in the UK. Dr Bhana is also a fellow of the College of Physicians. In 2004, he received a gold medal by the University of the Witwatersrand for teaching excellence. Dr Bhana is also raising thyroid health awareness worldwide and has been on multiple talk shows and podcasts.
