Dr Ariadna Ortiz Brugués obtained a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Seville and the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg, studying in the latter her doctoral thesis and obtaining the qualification “Cum Laude”. She has carried out several stays and research projects abroad in prestigious centers such as the Massachusetts hospital in Boston, Harvard University; the Occupational and Environmental Dermatology service, Malmö University Hospital, in Sweden; the Oncodermatology service of the University Cancer Institute of Toulouse - Oncopole; and the Friedrichshafen Dermatopathology, in Germany. Scientific publications in journals of high impact factor such as JAMA Dermatology, The Oncologist, Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, Journal of Dermatology, Journal of the European Society of Dermatology and Venerology, Journal der Deutschen Dermatologischen Gesellschaft. Speaker in several national and international conferences. Professor at the Master in Quality of Life and Medical-Aesthetic Care of the Oncology Patient and at Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Medicine (University of Alcalá) and at the Master of Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine (Complutense University). Member of the European Group of Adverse Skin Events to Oncological Drugs, the Spanish Group of Cutaneous Lymphomas, the International Trichoscopy Society and the ISAD-OPENED Task Force.

Prof Jean-Hilaire Saurat, MD, is professor emeritus at Geneva University where he chaired the department of Dermatology for 28 years. He had studied Dermatology at the Hôpital Saint-Louis, and Experimental Pathology at the Faculté Necker Enfants Malades, both in Paris. Prof. Saurat has been President of the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), President of the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR), and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV). Prof. Saurat has been chief editor of Dermatology 1986-2015 , and has been section editor of the Journal of Investigative Dermatology 1987-1997. He is the leading editor for editions 1st through 6th of the French Textbook of Dermatology Elsevier-Masson pub. Prof. Saurat’ current research includes: sebaceous glands pathophysiology, skin aging/dermatoporosis, dermatotoxicology, and retinoids. His past research interests have included inflammatory skin diseases, graftversus- host reaction, severe drug reactions, and pediatric dermatology. Prof Saurat currently has a selected private practice in Geneva. Prof. Saurat citations report indicates his 1.019 publications were cited 19.245 times, with an h-index of 66. Prof. Saurat is “Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur” France.
