Dr Sam Molepo completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. He has a special interest in breast, lung, gastrointestinal, urological, haematological, and sarcomatous malignancies, with a particular focus on the genetic basis of cancer. He worked in Medical Oncology at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital from 2022 until the completion of his contract in June 2025, where he was actively involved in integrating multidisciplinary care. He has since joined the Wits University Donald Gordon Medical Centre. Dr Molepo is a strong advocate for patient-centred care, customised anticancer treatment, and a multidisciplinary approach to oncology management.  

Dr Peter completed his MBBCh at Wits University and became a Fellow of the College of Physicians of South Africa in 2002. He obtained a sub-specialty certificate in Pulmonology in 2009. Currently, he serves as a principal specialist, physician, and pulmonologist at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, where he is also the clinical head of a unit in Internal Medicine.
