Weylandts Launches Interior Design Division Called Weylandts Spaces

Weylandts newly introduced interior design initiative, Weylandts Spaces, offers a full spectrum interior design division which was established to conceive and create bespoke interiors that reflect the personal vision of their clients.

Under the guidance of acclaimed interior designer Adam Court, a team of highly specialised designers and decorators offer clients a full spectrum service from interior design to tailored furniture to suit the requirements of clients in the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.

Weylandts CEO, Chris Weylandt and his partner Kim Smith’s appreciation for unconventional, natural beauty in furniture and design is shared by Adam Court, giving clients the luxurious and sought after aesthetic that Weylandts represents – a distinctive style of Scandinavian design mixed with African mindedness.

“Through discussions with Chris, we realised it was high time to establish a new division at Weylandts dedicated to creating, personal curated interiors, hence Spaces was born at the end of 2015, and is currently working on a contemporary beach house in Pringle Bay, a luxury lodge and a Minimalist modern farmhouse in Somerset West. All of the projects vastly different in style and approach, but perfect foundations for Spaces to apply our unique handcrafted vision,” comments Adam.

A natural brand extension for Weylandts, this innovative addition to their home outfitting offering is set to be amongst the premier interior design firms in South Africa. With the advantage of Weylandts’ proficient international and national furniture studios, suppliers and logistic networks paired with Adam’s top-tier interior design expertise, he is looking to take Weylandts Spaces to new levels in the interior design world both nationally and internationally.

“Weylandts Spaces is a conceptual design division rather than purely interior design, as I create stories and narratives for my clients ultimately resulting in custom-made spaces that reflect their personal style and aesthetics.
