Woodworking show a huge success

Working with Wood show

The East Rand Woodworkers Association member’s had a great range of finished products on display with some sculpted by years of experience, showing off their techniques, their craftsmanship and special skills.

According to the organisers this year’s woodworking show was a huge success. “We certainly had a much better turn out than last year,” said Mark Lemmer, East Rand Woodworking Association Member. “It proves that to have the right partners and supporters like Working with Wood and the Vermont Sales team, its marketing and public relations support helped significantly. The Vermont Sales teams displays of the latest tools and demo’s in the main marque made a huge difference to the overall show.”

“If I listen to the positive feedback from all the members who participated in last year’s event compared to this year, they only had positive feedback. We did not really have any means to do a people count, but judging on the amount of food sold we estimated twice the number of visitors than that of last year,” said Lemmer.

Working with Wood, Greg De Villiers, Sales Manager Vermont Sales, demo’ed all the latest brands from its arsenal of products. The award winning Festool range, Saw Stop, Triton, Kreg systems, popular Tork Craft products and the latest from a range of international brands, such as Bessey, Pro-Tech, Felo, Alpen, MPS, Spring Tools, Mag Switch, Drill Doctor and Armor where all tried out. It was a DIY, hobbyist, tool and woodworking man’s dream show.

The East Rand Woodworkers Association (ERWA) member’s had a great range of finished products in the main exhibition hall, with some amazing items, sculpted by years of experience, showing off their techniques, their craftsmanship and special skills, all shared with the who attended the event.

“We had an impressive turn out and some great finished products on display by the local guys, there was also a lot of interest in our brands and new products,” said Greg De Villiers. The demonstrations were also very popular  and the crowds were enthusiastic – all in all it was a tremendous success.”

Judging by the sales achieved by Dynamic Electrical on the day, I would say it was a huge success for all involved, we thank the local ERWA members and all the organisers for their help,” said De Villiers
