drinktec’s open for business

At the recent meeting of the drinktec advisory board in March, attendees agreed that the event is on the road to success. Board members were unanimous that the fair is ready to open its doors on 11 September 2017. The team are working hard to make the fair a successful industry gathering.

Record-level international attendance at Interpack 2017

The Interpack 2017 trade fair brought together a record attendance of 2 865 companies. About 74 per cent of the approximately 170 500 visitors travelled to Düsseldorf from abroad. Three quarters of these were decision-makers. The event was held from 4 to 10 May in Düsseldorf, Germany.

That’s a wrap on Food & Hospitality Africa 2017!

Food & Hospitality Africa 2017 has drawn to a close after three days of hospitality innovation, trends and networking. ‘A resounding success,’ says Nick Sarnadas, the show’s event director at Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery. ‘We could not have anticipated a better turn out. Our visitors – over 6 600 of them – were impressed with the quality of exhibitors; while our exhibitors reported that lead-generation was extremely satisfying during their time at the show. They could connect with key decision-makers and were delighted by the standard of visitors in attendance. Well done to all who played a part in ensuring the show exceeded all expectations.’

tna to open innovations hall at Interpack 2017

tna has announced that it will open a dedicated innovations hall for the entire duration of the Interpack fair from 4 to 10 May in Germany. The hall will be located at Station Airport in Düsseldorf. There will be a regular private shuttle service between Interpack and the hall. This is to accommodate its ever-growing portfolio of turnkey food processing and packaging solutions.
