Food and Hospitality World Africa, which runs alongside the Good Food & Wine Show, is the hospitality industry’s premier business networking conference and will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from 20 to 22 May 2015. Spanning four continents, this exhibition showcases the best of international business practices with the finest local markets for mutually beneficial relationships.
A new addition for the year’s FHWA is the Food for Thought Conference where necessary and critical food industry information will be presented by leading industry experts. Some of the subjects up for discussion are food security, food safety, halaal, and how to do business in Africa. It is the second year in a row that Italian owned Fiera Milano Exhibitions will present Food and Hospitality World.
CEO of Fiera Milano, Heidi Warricker, says, ‘Exhibitions are the most powerful platforms to promote business. They can strengthen your marketing campaigns and results before the event. They create a dynamic environment for an entire industry to converge and to do business, and they generate opportunities to grow your business even after the event is over.’
MCI South Africa have partnered with Fiera Milano in creating the business conference on the African continent. The two day event aims to attract consumers; industry thought leaders, entrepreneurs, policy makers and innovators and provides a platform to explore challenges, share best practices and innovation in the food and hospitality industries.
The conference will present leading national and international speakers, innovators and businessmen. There will be a mix of talks and workshops covering relevant and dynamic topics, such as best sustainable development practices, culinary trends, food sustainability and Africa footprint.
