Game-changing aseptic solutions from Sidel

Join Sidel at Saudi Print & Pack 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 6th to 9th May, as they showcase groundbreaking aseptic technology.

Sidel will be showcasing on stand, 3-3316, Hall 3, its world class aseptic technology including the Aseptic Combi Predis, an integrated blow-fill-cap solution for PET bottles that incorporates Predis dry preform sterilisation.

By eliminating conveying, empty-bottle handling, accumulation and storage, Aseptic Combi Predis has an optimised line layout with a smaller footprint, improving production hygiene and efficiency while lowering operating costs.

Supporting FHPC manufacturers across MEA region

“Sidel has longstanding experience supporting food, home, and personal care (FHPC) manufacturers across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. We’re excited to share our expertise at the show with visitors,” says Bassam Oussaifi, vice president sales Middle East & Africa at Sidel.

Most recently Sidel installed its cutting-edge PET line for IFFCO Group to expand its condiments production capacity at its Al Ain, United Arab Emirates (UAE) production site and its new facility in Baghdad, Iraq. Sidel designed and delivered the entire turnkey project.

Upstream the lines incorporate Sidel’s blow-fill-cap Combi solution which uses preferential heating technology, which optimises PET distribution while allowing the asymmetrical stretching needed to blow flat and shaped containers.

While downstream the AQFlex is used for seamless accumulation and conveyance to the labeller and at end-of-the lines the RoboAccess robotic palletiser uses an exclusive gripping tool capable of handling cases and pallets.

Each line in Baghdad and Al Ain now boasts impressive capacity of up to 9,000 bottles per hour and flexibility to handle three unique bottle designs, two caps and three label variations.

Super Combi for high-speed water and carbonated soft drinks

Sidel’s all-in-one Super Combi solution will also be exhibited at Saudi Print & Pack and integrates five process steps – preform feeding, blowing, labelling, filling and cap feeding – into a single system. The solution, ideal for water and carbonated soft drink production, uses equipment intelligence to continuously optimise production and enhance performance.

Recently Sidel installed its Super Combi for Mai Dubai, one the leading bottled water companies in the UAE. The facility is thought to be the fastest single line in the MENA region filling at 86,000 bottles per hour in three different formats – 200ml, 330ml and 500ml.

High-class filling range

Sidel will also be highlighting EvoFILL Glass and the EvoFILL Can; both use technologically advanced filling within high-level hygienic conditions and offer greater flexibility to achieve a top performance.

EvoFILL Can runs at over 130,000 cans per hour without compromising the overall performance of the line. While EvoFILL Glass is a suitable choice for beer and CSD manufacturers as it can handle a wide range of speeds and has a fully automatic carousel that can adjust to unique bottle sizes running at over 80,000 bottles per hour.

Discover Sidel’s Evo-ON

Visitors to stand can also explore Sidel’s Evo-ON – a unique cloud suite with built-in intelligence that is designed to optimise any aspect of the production line. The Evo-ON smart apps turn unused raw equipment data to refine the manufacturing process to achieve peak performance. The system collects, aggregates and analyses data 24/7 to offer real-time and proactive alerts, notifications and reports.
