Mondelēz appoints new finance leader for Sub-Saharan Africa

Mondelēz International has named Vinayak Sasitharan as Senior Director, Finance for Sub-Saharan Africa. With extensive global experience, he will drive financial strategy and growth in the region.

Mondelēz International, Inc. (Nasdaq: MDLZ), a global snacking leader with iconic brands like Cadbury, OREO, Bournvita, and Halls, has appointed Vinayak Sasitharan as senior director, finance for Sub-Saharan Africa. Sasitharan will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and driving growth across the region.

Vinayak brings over 16 years of international experience in financial leadership. He began his career in Investment Banking at Macquarie Group in Australia and later joined The Arnott’s Group, where he worked across Australia, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Most recently, he served as CFO of Arnott’s Asia & Commercial Head of Japan, leading financial strategy, governance, and business expansion across Southeast Asia and Japan.

Driving growth in Sub-Saharan Africa
