Which SPAR products are affected?
The recall applies to the following SPAR yoghurt products sold nationwide from 15 June 2026:
- SPAR Fat Free Yoghurt
- SPAR Low Fat Yoghurt
- SPAR Double Cream Yoghurt
- SPAR Indulge Double Cream Yoghurt
- SPAR Active Drinking Yoghurt
All affected products have a sell-by date of 09/08/2026 and a use-by date of 12/08/2026. Popular flavours such as strawberry, mixed berry, peach & apricot, and indulgent strawberry & white chocolate are included in the recall.
Why the recall happened and health risks
The recall was initiated after a production machine malfunction caused some yoghurt packs to experience “blowing.” This issue affects the taste, smell, and appearance of the products and may lead to stomach discomfort if consumed.
