Tetra Pak has once again demonstrated its environmental leadership by earning recognition from CDP, the global environmental disclosure system.
The company achieved an A- score for Forests, marking ten consecutive years in CDP’s leadership band, and an A- score for Water Security for the third year in a row.
This recognition highlights Tetra Pak’s commitment to sustainability, reinforced by its Approach to Nature framework introduced in 2024. This comprehensive strategy focuses on halting and reversing nature loss while enhancing water resilience. With over 20 measurable targets spanning sourcing, operations, and collaborations, Tetra Pak is driving positive change across its value chain. Initiatives like the Araucaria Conservation Project in Brazil further underline its dedication to creating nature-positive food systems and global water security.
In addition to its leadership in forests and water security, Tetra Pak disclosed significant progress on climate change. The company reduced greenhouse gas emissions across its operations by 54% compared to a 2019 baseline, keeping on track to achieve net-zero by 2030. Across its value chain, emissions were cut by 25%, a five-percentage-point improvement from 2023.
